While studying at Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan, Italy, I was assigned to create a cohesive series of illustrations for the Zodiac signs. I focused on creating a minimalist series that accentuates the zodiac symbols and their underlying qualities. As each month symbolizes different stages within the year – and each zodiac represent particular human characteristics – each color of the rainbow was intentionally paired to characterize the area that each zodiac fits within their spectrum.
